About Lightforce
We're an owner-operated Kiwi business and we're incredibly passionate about what we do. Our people are our greatest asset which means we can consistently deliver on workmanship and service. We keep all our services in-house so you'll always be looked after by an invested member of our immediate team.
What drives us
Working in a field that excites us and knowing what we do every day has a positive impact on the world in which we live, is a very good feeling. In both our solar or electrical work, collectively reducing the negative impact we have on our planet is of fundamental importance.
Together, with the help and commitment of our customers, we can help drive this positive environmental change by making good choices every day - engaging in sustainable practices and investing in sustainable technologies.
Social & environmental responsibility
Social and environmental responsibility is at the heart of everything we do. This consciousness permeates all aspects of our business - from the strategies and operating systems we have put in place, to the daily eco-efforts employed by of every member of the team.
Here are some of our initiatives that you can also get involved in:
Looking after our coastlines - beach cleans
Out trusty panel counter keeps track of how many panels we’ve installed - every 500 installed, we commit to cleaning up one of our local beaches. See our Facebook page to find out when the next beach clean is. Come and join us! It’s a great way to teach Kiwi kids about sustainable living and looking after our precious and unique ecosystems.
Putting good energy into a great cause - gifting of a solar system
We have also set up an annual program gifting a solar system to a deserving Kiwi family or organisation. If you know someone (i.e. a member of the community, a school or group) who could really benefit from the savings they will make or will use it as an educational tool to teach communities about the importance of sustainable living, get in touch!
The Lightforce Team
We carefully select each member of the team based on skill-set, personality and ability to communicate with our customers and with each other. This means we can deliver consistently high standards of workmanship and service on every job.
Our recruitment process is rigorous but this means we end up with a team that our customers can truly trust - our greatest offering really is our calibre of people.
